Biden AGAIN Turns His Back on America: Shows Up Five Hours Late, Flees Reporters Without Taking Questions

President Biden finally showed up to his press conference and predicted that the U.S. can evacuate all Americans by Aug. 31, the Taliban-set deadline that the administration has readily accepted.

“The sooner we can finish the better,” Biden said, adding “each day brings added risk to our troops.” It was more optimistic, than a clear-eyed, substantive assessment of the precarious situation facing Americans stranded in Afghanistan.

The president was five hours late to the press conference, which he opened with a lot of talk about his administration’s purported achievements, such as the Build Back Better program and the American Rescue Plan (apparently, the irony of mentioning the spending program with Americans in harm’s way didn’t dawn on Biden’s speechwriters).

The president, once again, turned his back on reporters and the American people who waited patiently for him to show up to the press conference, which was initially scheduled for noon eastern.

It is the fourth time in roughly the last week that Biden has turned his back on the press and Americans looking for answers. The president did it after remarks on the Covid-19 vaccine on Monday.

The president also did it last Wednesday.

Biden left without taking remarks on August 16.

The president did take questions while flanked by Vice President Kamala Harris and Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Friday.

However, he did not take remarks on August 16 before departing for Camp David. The White House insists that Biden is not dodging questions.

At the White House press conference today, Press Secretary Jen Psaki effectively admitted that the Biden administration now “expects some” Americans to be stranded in Afghanistan.

The Biden administration has failed to move the Taliban on extending the August 31 deadline to evacuate all Americans out of Afghanistan. The terror leaders have warned of “consequences” if the United States cannot conduct all evacuation and extraction missions by that deadline.

“A Taliban spokesman says the U.S. must complete its evacuation of people from Afghanistan by the Aug. 31 date the Biden administration set for the withdrawal of all U.S. troops,” the AP reported. “The Taliban say they will accept ‘no extensions’ to the deadline.”

The U.S. embassy issued a “last alert” for Americans to get out of Afghanistan, as the military has already begun preparations to leave the country after twenty years of war. The embassy retracted the alert thirty minutes later.
